BREAKING THE SPIRIT OF RUSH, AND NOT ENOUGH-NESS
You weren’t put here to live in a perpetual state of rush and not enough-ness, with the work you came to do never QUITE allowed to breathe.
God doesn’t require OR desire you to work endlessly at trying to be on top of things, escaping overwhelm, doing enough that you can finally relax and be, or proving yourself as worthy.
You were already granted worth,
from the start,
Amen.
This spirit of lack, of fear, of continually feeling behind, of impatience, of no time to pause, of there’s so much to DO, of I can slow down WHEN –
it gets to go.
And God says –
Hand it over.
Let it be.
You do realise this is a spirt, yes, this push and pull and never being able to actually be with what IS thing?
It’s not you.
It’s a thing which has perhaps been cast over you,
perhaps been conditioned into you,
learned from a small age, and from life itself,
perhaps chosen by you, and then chosen again and again,
perhaps just picked up in the air, as a dominant spirit of the collective, and let’s not forget that of COURSE we are influenced by what we surround ourselves with, and feed ourselves with, and typically we become it,
but wherever it came from –
it gets to go.
It gets to go because you DECIDE it gets to go, you ask and pray for it to be broken, you see it for what it is, and you plug yourself back in to where you know you’re meant to plant your soul, and your life.
It does NOT get to go because you finally catch up, get on top, do enough, prove yourself or your worth, get better organised, do what you said you’d do by now, or run just that little bit faster in order to catch all the moments you already left behind.
That’s not a thing. NONE of that,
is a thing.
And yet,
knowing this as you already do,
if you’re not careful and you don’t make a conscious choice, you will give your life for all of that!
Always working your butt off to get ahead,
never able to really pause and breathe.
And what do you think the outcome will be, of all of that? The outcome beyond just a life of busy and rushed and behind? The outcome will be –
the WORK, the MESSAGE, and the true YOU, never actually comes through!
This spirit of rush and overwhelm is not just on you to make you FEEL bad, or stressed out, or wound up, or not enough. It’s also – to stop you being used for what you’re here for!
And in turn,
to stop you receiving everything that is here for you.
It kinda sucks,
a lot more than what you already realised,
when you look at it that way!
So now imagine –
what would be different for you if THIS weren’t there?
How would you be?
You would be dropped in.
Able to breathe and be.
Have all the time needed in the world to create and flow, to let the work come out and to let it also direct and guide you.
You would be able to let IT breathe and be.
You would enjoy and appreciate life, now.
You would feel safe.
You would create more.
You’d have more time and space, and also impart that to others.
And so much more besides.
It’s kind of a no-brainer.
So how to break this spirit?
See it. See it for what it is. See it as not part of you. Call it out. And then THROW it out.
“Lord, please break the spirit of rush and not-enoughness in me. I know I was born enough, worthy, whole, and allowed to BE. Please help me to be fully present and relaxed in you, in my self, in my business, in my home, in my relationships, in my art, so that I can do what I am actually here for and meant to do.
Please show me how it gets to feel fun and easy and as though I have done enough even as I work my butt off but from that place of expansion and YES, rather than not there and FORCE.
Please teach me how to be,
and remind me you already made me free.
In Jesus Name I pray these things,
Amen.”
