A Multi-Thousand $ Client, a Room of Sweat, and an Empire

Everything you do counts.

I was just reminded how one of my premium clients, a client who is so fucking ideal it’s not funny, who has invested in working with me over and over again, who DOES THE WORK, who I freakin’ LOVE, who just RE invested in working with me again met me.

“When you came to my Bikram Yoga studio to do a nutrition talk. It must’ve been about six or seven years ago now! X”

I remember doing these little nutrition talks as a thank you to various studio owners who I would also write free ‘Food for Yoga’ blogs for, to help support their business and in exchange for free yoga classes, back in the day when money was a bit tighter.

I was always a hustler and always looking for a deal.

So I would do these talks, and occasionally get paid, if so not much, and usually nothing.

I did it because I was asked to, mainly! And certainly I always have enjoyed the talking.

But had you have asked me 6-7 years ago whether doing one of these free or few $$ pocket money talks would have led to me inspiring, motivating, empowering and butt-kicking a REVOLUTIONARY fucking leader who also works with me at the multi-thousand dollar level?

I would have laughed at the idea. Not least because I didn’t even HAVE the knowledge of THIS business yet!

So many of my clients have ‘just’ come across me, I find.

My key ‘lead gen’ tool really is word of mouth, and I believe in building my business one relationship at a time. But there are also a SUBSTANTIAL amount of women in my community who have followed me for years.

Via my old online fitness business.

Or a post I wrote in a magazine.

Or a time I was featured somewhere else.

Or a comment I left on the internet somewhere, about something.

Or from a little 45-minute nutrition talk I gave in the back of a sweaty Bikram studio.

I never stop creating content.

Every day I’ve been putting it out there, for 8 years online, and nearly as many before that, in my offline biz.

For most of that time I was not paid for it.

And I didn’t even question that.

I just kept showing up.

I wasn’t even thinking from a point of view of ‘this will one day make me money’.

I just DID it.

You think that one extra yes, that one extra post, that one video, that one snap, that one livestream, that one more time you get off your ass won’t make a difference?

Don’t be so STUPID!

And make no mistake:

Every fucking thing that you do counts.

One person, one moment, one decision you make to wake up and say something, spread your message, say yes to even the smallest opportunity.

THAT is how an empire is built.

One word at a time.
