I MADE YOU TO CREATE AND DREAM

God says “I did not call you to be a builder, or labourer in the fields. I made you a dreamer. A seer. A visionary. For now”.

At it’s simplest and most powerful, in the place where it most feeds us, fuels us, truly feels it is FOR us, the work we are here to do is the work which is already IN you.

Not in a way of you having to extrapolate it.

Figure it out.

Or make it make sense.

But just in a way of – “oh! Of course! That’s what it is!”

And then you keep going.

Dropping morsels of Spirit-led truth as you go.

Being the creator, the visionary, the dreamer, the seer, the child who has time and space and also faith – she is safe, she trusts, she knows she is taken care of – to dream those dreams. See those things. And share them. As led.

In that purest state she is not concerning herself with how it is going to be received. Work. Or even what it’s for.

Those thoughts come after.
They have their place.
But they are not where those of us who see, dream, and know, are meant to land.

This morning as I walked slowly into my time with the Lord I found myself asking him what I was not seeing, in the times when I find myself somehow not showing up yet knowing He has given me work TO show up with.

“It doesn’t make sense”, I thought. “It’s confusing. Why do I know there is all this you’ve given me to do, yet I don’t do it, and I actually feel not capable or as though it is not RIGHT for me to do it?”

I knew that when I asked Him,
He would answer.

I take Him at His word and I speak Jeremiah 33:3 over myself near daily, so I expected His reveal!

This is what He said. I know it’s for you as well as me. And it also became a pivotal entry point into this morning’s first zoom class for Provision, God’s Money Course. “The Lord will give what is good, and the land will yield it’s increase!” Yes, you can still join. I recommend you do.

“I made you to create and dream.

You are a creator and a dreamer and my child.

When did you decide that you needed to carry these burdens, burdens I never gave you?

I did not ask you to be a builder, or a labourer in the fields. I made you in my image as a dreamer. To see where others can not. To paint a picture of hope, and belief, to reveal excitement, possibility, and joy.

I did not call you to call others to action, but to SEE.

Leave the action bit up to me.

The design I have for you is precious, and rare. Like fine gold, spun silk, a tapestry made by me.

This is who you are meant to be.

My child stop doing.

You will not earn my favour by doing more.

You are exhausting yourself and others with all this striving to be.

I made you a dreamer.

I made you to twirl and be.

I made you to reflect me.

Now stop doing, and instead share what will cause others to see”.

It’s funny, and humbling, how often we need to hear the same lessons again and again.

I feel like I’ve taught all of exactly that to half the internet for near on 20 years now, and I was teaching it in my businesses offline prior to that!

I’ve always been the one who can see what is in people.

(Yes that is normal for somebody who has a prophetic gifting, and who is a seer! No I did not realise that the whole time!)

Yet I’ve also in so many ways been the one who tries to hammer myself into an appropriate hole, or one of perfection.

Ah, what a blessing the continual correction of the Lord is!

Is this for you today?

Are you one I was speaking to today when I posted a little follow on thought to the above on Facebook, stating that some of you would make much more money with much more ease (and also with your actual ideal clients) if you simply forgot you ever knew online marketing existed, and went back to being the visionary, seer, dreamer He made you to be?

Is it you who He is speaking to with this reminder that the reason you can’t seem to show up is because once again you heaped on the burden of doing things ‘right’, or in a certain way?

Do you know that even now when I sat down to write, knowing the Lord had called me to write to you right now, I started to try and ‘drop in on’ what new or fresh or ‘I don’t know yet’ word I was meant to share?

Once again in an idea of DOING!

Do you know there is a part of me which feels like I’m cheating, it’s too easy, if I just (again!) share what He showed me already today?

Do you know He literally told me weeks back that the ‘social media next level formula’ I’d been waiting for revelation on was to simply SHARE WHAT HE ALREADY TOLD ME EACH DAY?

I mean …

idk what the point of continually seeing and hearing from God is if not to edify and equip the saints and those who He is calling home by actually sharing it, rather than thinking you need to think of something else, trick it up somehow, or make it fit expectations of a world you don’t even want to be winning at being in anymore!

(Ps I know not every word is to share. You get my point).

The thing is, God has uniquely designed each of us to perfectly fit the mold He Himself made us. He prepared us for good works in Christ. Not in ourselves! And not by taking ideas of what those works could be, then putting our own or the worlds spin on it.

Yes it is hard sometimes.

The continual softening, stripping away, releasing, and letting it ‘just’ be this.

But oh, what a lie of the devil that there could be anything more beautiful, wonderful, and impactful to express through you than just you being who God designed you to be, ‘just this’.

Today I urge you to join me,

in repenting for unbelief. Repenting for a lack of belief that God got the design right, and you don’t need to meet a standard set by a falling world.
