You’ve been being silent again, haven’t you?

You’ve allowed yourself to be silent again, haven’t you?

You’ve let your voice be suppressed.

The things God has been putting on your heart have either felt too much, too overwhelming, or too scattered, too vague.

You’ve wondered if maybe it’s just YOU.

“I’m probably making it up.”

Instead of accepting what is TRUE, which is that He is showing you a pathway He has designed for you to walk, and oh –

it’s not about YOUR know-how. Strength. Capability. Or fathoming of how on earth it could BE!

And the lie you have listened to perhaps most of all is that it just feels too hard.

Too hard to show up for everything God has for you.
Too hard to pin down exactly what He is even saying to you.
Too hard to figure out where to place or position or publish things, or how.

And so in many ways it’s just been … why bother? I’m not sure ANYWAY? There’s too much to clarify ANYWAY. Add all of that to the question of whether or not the vision you’re seeing of who you are is from God or YOU, and it’s not a big leap to understand why you’ve simply not been BEING.

Instead existing,
in a mediocre mash-up of the truth which IS in fact pouring into you as you continue to seek Him and which SHOULD in fact be pouring out.

I hear God saying –

“Are you willing to let it be easy?

Are you willing to allow me to just show you?

Are you willing to let things just FLOW, and let it be obvious, simple, and clear?”

But you need to know this:

Your (duh!) YES response requires you to also be willing to step up and TAKE COMMAND ACCORDING TO THE AUTHORITY YOU HAVE IN CHRIST.

It’s time to remember that we have been given dominion on this earth.

WE get to direct everything ON and IN this realm.

According to His will.
For His glory.
THROUGH Him.

And if some part of you right now is still wondering whether or not it’s in God’s will for you to step up, forward, act in certainty, put your hands to things you’ve been wondering about working at –

STOP it.

Mind your own business ABOUT what your business should be, or whether or not people think this or that, and work with your hands just as God instructs. (1 Thessalonians 4:11, NIV)

How do you expect God to open the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your season and bless the work of your hands if you’re not DOING any? (Deuteronomy 28:12). Or if you’re doing dead work which YOU decided is safe in lieu of stepping forward with a spirit of boldness which God GAVE you to do the work He has set before you?

It’s time to sit up, straighten up, and BE GOD’S VOICE THE WAY HE IS SHOWING YOU TO BE.

Pray “establish the work of my hands Lord! And I thank you that you DO bless my way as I walk forward!” (Psalm 90:17. Psalm 1:6.)

Your human doubts, fears, emotional turmoil, will?

Nobody said they had to even COME to the party.

So stop freakin’ putting them in charge of the party.
