IT’S NOT GOING TO WORK IF YOU HANG YOUR ENTIRE IDENTITY ON IT

It’s not going to work if you hang your entire identity on whether or not you do the thing.

You literally won’t even do TODAY’S work if the pressure you’re putting on it is for it to validate your worth, your readiness, your ability, your right to have a seat at the freakin’ table or even –

exist.

The truth is that being one of the waymakers, the messengers, those who are called to pour FORTH a thing and who truly do have that 1% within the 1% way in which they see the world and also hold themselves to being …

does not mean you will ever actually do any of whatever ‘it’ is you came here to do.

In fact you can be one of the most dropped in tapped in supernaturally discerning and all round WOAH humans out there and yet still just –

not.

This is usually not a discipline issue.

Discipline, which absolutely is required, is a SIDE-effect you will find will take care of itself when you untangle and cut loose the mass of YOU which you have unintentionally made your work have to be about.

The inner coding you’ve allowed which says that if you ARE going to write (speak, create) it has to be exceptional.

If you are going to post (email, speak, launch) it has to be profound.

If you are going to bring that new offer into the world (and actually follow through properly and diligently to sell the thing) it has to be the exact perfect amazing spiritually aligned thing whilst also being just the right amount of flowy, fiery, FUN, and unapologetic.

Dance my little monkey, dance …

Did I say that out loud?)

I mean –

Good Lord! It’s a wonder you even crawl out of bed in the morning, let alone show up with even half of a single purposeful unleashing of something from inside of you.

The reality is that you are going to need to realise that your true work and what you SHOULD be unleashing daily, as one of ‘us’, is simultaneously SO profound, tapped in, jaw-dropping, fun, flowy, unapologetic, and absolutely Spirit AND spirit-led and guided … (you’re right!) … and also?

It doesn’t matter.

You can’t show up to do something which you are making HAVE to matter so so desperately and deeply.

It doesn’t MATTER like that.

It’s just words on a page for another day.

It might be incredible. It might be average. It might blow up for reasons beyond algorithmic or other calculations. It might bomb. It might make money. It might not. It might be the ONE thing that person needed to hear to change EVERYTHING. Or it might speak to nobody.

But either way,
what it WILL be,
is today’s work,
done.

And do you know what will happen?

When you simply show up,

zero attachment to it having to ‘be’ something?

Do you know?

Gorgeous.

It.
will.
BECOME.
something.

It will be work which DEEPLY deeply matters.

It will be the outpouring of what you have been given, carried for so long, cultivated for so long.

It will be EVERYTHING,

that it was meant to be.

But you have to let go gorgeous.

You have to let go.

Stop hanging your identity on what you say,
create,
unleash,
sell,
or on any kind of metric that is being hit or no.

If you keep doing that,
you will sell your destiny for the price of a life focused on outcomes which were never actually the thing.

Because in the end, in the end, in the END –

wasn’t the thing to just wake up each day and be you?

Wasn’t THAT the thing?

And isn’t it still?
