What would it take for you to feel purposeful?

What are the actions the version of you who you WANT to be –

Indeed believe yourself TO be, on a core level, yet arguably are NOT being and so therefore – errmmm, and SORRY – are in fact not –

what are THOSE things?

What would you be doing each day?
Saying each day?
SEEING in a new way?
And also expecting,

IF YOU JUST DECIDED TO BE HER?

Because I gotta tell you, as much as you feel like you need to be energised and lit up in a certain way in order to DO the darn thing, the reality is that DOING THE DARN THING IS WHAT IS GONNA LIGHT YOU UP AND ENERGISE YOU.

The fact that that is frustrating, feels impossibly difficult, divinely unfair, or perhaps simply scary, because, well – what if you DO do the darn thing and it lets you down or you let you down or you end up feeling like GOD has let you down, and when you finally go all in at being ‘her’ it turns out you’re actually NOT –

doesn’t make it not true that this is how it works.

The thing with stepping forward on a path of “AND NOW I’LL JUST BE HER” is that you will find her when you be her.

You will FIND her,
when you be her.

And I mean …

isn’t that just EXCITING? Isn’t it thrilling, invigorating, jump up and down with glee-making?!

And if you don’t feel that way …

isn’t it possible –

just possible – !

That you’re bought into a too hard lie instead of a just TRY vibe?

Just give it a GO! Just decide to stand up, step up, shift up, shape up, GET UP AND SCREAM AND SHOUT AND LET IT ALL OUT AND THEN be.that.girl!

The ACTUAL worst that can happen is you find out that ‘the thing you always thought it was gonna be and have avoided for years in case it turns out you’re wrong’ makes way for you to sashay forward into the ACTUAL thing it turned out to be.

YES, you could have ‘got it wrong’, meaning maybe you don’t see the full vision which is THE vision yet, because, well – how can you? If you refuse to walk forward on the step which is blatantly and glaringly and obviously in front of you you’re hardly gonna get to or see the next one.

And so yes,

maybe you WILL fail.

Maybe you WILL go all in and then ‘the thing’ never comes to fruition.

Maybe you will pour in money and time and energy and effort and find out it’s not that at ALL.

But don’t you see?

In doing so,
In walking forward like that,
In being the girl who gets up and DOES the thing like that,
you JUST,
became her.

You BECAME THAT GIRL.

The one who gets up, shakes off doubt or despair, gives fear and worry to God where they’re meant to be given, and TAKES ACTION PURPOSEFULLY ON WHAT IS SET IN FRONT OF HER.

And do you wanna know what happens to that girl?

Let me just prophesy for a sec real quick –

SHE ENCOUNTERS THE THINGS WHICH ARE FOR HER.

IN JESUS NAME.

AMEN.

And I mean that very very seriously and with all glory to God, because guess what HE does?

He orders your steps.
He blesses your path as you walk forward.
He makes a way where there is none.
And provides a river in the desert.

But what He asks?
What the word says?

“Remember not the former, and consider not the old”.

Followed by –

“SEE I AM DOING A NEW THING”.

And your part?

Get off your butt and do the in front of you thing.

– YES, she is one who sees, knows, and moves in the supernatural, thank you LORD
– YES, she vibes and rocks and rolls and has an EDGE
– YES, she makes money ‘like that’ and it is what it is; she has an anointing for wealth and big work to do
– Yes. She is one of the absolutely different ones, even in a roomful of different ones. She is the ‘too much woman’, and that hasn’t changed.

But yes.

She is softer now.

She is in a new season now.

She is in a season where at first it felt scary, that everything seemed to be scaling BACK. Do less? But I love being this person! I love being her! I love what she does, is, CHOSE to be, and became! Although …

I’m tired.
And it’s not quite the same.

And in that seemingly LESS season, all of a sudden –

She sees more.

“Where I’m taking you, you will not be contained”, said the Lord. Right before He told me, and this was for YOU – “you build yourself pretty little prisons. And then you’re stuck in them”.

And right now He is saying –

Let me tear down the walls.
Tear down the walls.
Tear down the walls of who YOU built yourself into being,
and who you thought you must.

And LET THE NEW THING RISE.
