Stop Being so Half Assed About Success
Is there anything more uninteresting than a person who is TRYING to achieve something?
I don’t know about you, but I don’t exactly find myself roused with excitement and inspiration when I listen to people talk about the goals and dreams they’re ‘working towards’, ‘working on’, ‘making progress on’.
I get excited, inspired and moved to action MYSELF when I come across that (pretty damn rare!) person who is so damn CERTAIN of what they’re creating, the difference they’re making, the MONEY they’re claiming, so damn filled with passion that it’s practically bubbling out of their ears and in listening to them you just KNOW –
This one?
Is for real.
And you wouldn’t at all be surprised to see into the future and see them as a leader to millions, a best-selling author, a visionary speaker, the top of the field.
They’ve got it going on, and then some, and EVERYBODY knows it.
Of course it doesn’t really matter what EVERYBODY knows, it matters only what the INDIVIDUAL knows about themselves. Which brings us to you –
Seriously?
Why AREN’T you giving it your all?
Why HAVEN’T you gone ALL out towards the things you SAY you want?
Why are you still banging on about the same old blockages, uncertainties, fears, doubts?
You think the SERIOUSLY successful people have no blockages, uncertainties, fears, doubts? No! They just get on with it anyway.
You think those who are where you want to be, financially, or in terms of their celebrity status in their field, or even in terms of the confidence and certainty they project, waited until they knew EXACTLY what to do to fulfil their wildest dreams, and had someone there to hold their hand and make ’em do it?
Come on.
Isn’t it time to realise that no matter which way you spin it time DOES keep on ticking and the TRUTH is you thought you’d be somewhere now that you’re not.
That you THINK you’re not because you don’t know how –
Or because you NEED more time –
Or because you’re not ready –
Or because it just didn’t work out like you thought it would –
When really it’s just because you don’t care as much as you maybe thought you would, or wish you could.
If it was a must – a MUST – then you’d have made it happen.
So, I’ll ask you again –

It’s yes or no baby and if it’s yes then don’t say it, SHOW it.
Of course it doesn’t really matter what I think but let me ask you something –
When YOU listen to yourself, to the mantras and reasonings that run through your mind about what you’re TRYING to do, what you’re WORKING on, what you’re GOING to make happen –
Is it freaking awesome and do you excite YOURSELF so much with the obvious CERTAINTY that this chick?
Is going places, and fast.
It’s a yes or a no kind of question gorgeous (another one!), and if it’s anything less than a hell YEAH, then you know what?
It’s a no and like it or not and no matter HOW you might try to package it the truth is you’re being a lame-assed excuse maker about your own success.
You CAN have it all, you can have it on YOUR terms, and you can have it NOW.
But if you want it?
You better fucking go and take it ’cause ain’t nobody gonna bring it on a silver platter just because you put the hours in.
Really what you’re doing is just watching the years roll by, until one day –
No more years left to roll by.
You think I’m being too cruel, unfair, judgmental?
Am I WRONG though?
If I am then AWESOME.
If you are truly giving it your ALL, then FABULOUS.
If you KNOW you are on your path, aligned, and you are in fact that person whose very energy and aura if you will inspires others with how passion-filled and action-fuelled it is then GREAT.
But if I’m right.
Even a little.
If what I’m saying is triggering you.
Even a little.
If it’s causing you to QUESTION.
Even a little.
Then man the fuck up, get yourself together, and start living like you mean it.
You got one shot baby.
Might be time to use yours before it expires.
