One Secret You May Not Be Doing To Get The Body You Want

When it comes to how you treat your body and how you think about your ability to get the body you want and then also keep it, do you have an abundance mindset or a scarcity mindset?

An abundant mindset says that you can work with your body to get results. A scarcity mindset contracts you and tells you to fight, that you have to work hard to ‘win’ against your body.

(How can you win in a battle against 2 divided parts of your own being?)

An abundant mindset says that there’s room to move, that you can enjoy your favorite treat foods from time to time and still achieve transformation. A scarcity mindset screams no, that you must be perfect, that you don’t deserve treats and that you’ll never get results with that sort of attitude.

An abundant mindset feels relaxed, expanded, free, happy, joyfully expectant. A scarcity mindset feels fearful, bound, anxious, self-doubting, uncertain, worried about what is to come, scared of what’s around every corner.

An abundant mindset knows that all things work together for good, that taking a day off from the gym for example or eating what you like for a day contributes to overall success by providing necessary rest, time out. A scarcity mindset assumes that there must be some missing link not yet discovered, has a fear of missing out, and is terrified of letting go of the reigns for even one day or meal.

An abundant mindset means you are able to push yourself to your full potential.

A scarcity mindset means you are so bound that it’s difficult to fully engage or enjoy in clean eating or fitness activities, and that you’re also exhausted much of the time.

An abundant mindset expects success, celebrates it, and assumes it will stay or even get better. While a scarcity mindset has no time to reward any wins or even acknowledge them, is always moving on to the next ‘impossible’ goal, is an expert at self-sabotaging just before or just after reaching a goal and assumes that even if it does manage to get ahead that it won’t last.

Are you abundant in your attitude toward achieving and maintaining the body you want, or are your fearful; bound, stuck in scarcity?

Your attitude about getting the body you want dictates your outcomes, your success at keeping those outcomes, and – most importantly of all – your enjoyment of the whole process.

Wouldn’t life be so much easier and more fun if you agreed to stop fighting against yourself so earnestly and instead to embrace abundance and flow, and to expect success?

Try it.
