SPIRITUAL WARFARE AGAINST YOUR CALLING

Satan will work in any way he can to sway you from your calling, and he will absolutely not play nice about it.

He’s not going to let you know what his plans are, make sure you understand the fine print, and then double check you’re cool with the fact that he plans to take over your mind, your focus, your clarity, your physical energy and wellbeing too, the better to convince you that you don’t have it IN you to do the work God sent you here for, even if you DID feel that you were good enough or worthy, and oh yeah –

he’ll definitely have some things to say to you about THAT.

He comes to steal, kill and destroy, and just as God has a plan for your destiny?

So does he.

For those of us who are called to share a MESSAGE,
who have a knowing God planted in us since before we got here,
His good works which we SHOULD follow prepared before He knit us in our mothers womb,

an obvious go-to for satan to pull you down with IS your worth and whether or not YOU should dare to think you could do such a thing, say such a thing, pour out such a thing, create such a thing, but the second in line plan of attack after that?

Is often your mind.

“I would if I had enough energy”.

“I would if I was clear”.

“I would but I’m so OVERWHELMED”.

“I would but I don’t know where to start”.

“I would but I don’t know if God is saying that or me/ I can’t hear God’s voice right now”

Heck, even “I would but I’m struggling for time!” is a mind attack, in that – we SHALL NOT WANT for anything God has purposed for us or given us (Psalm 23), and we WERE saved for good works which He has prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10), and we absolutely ARE called (Romans 8:28), we DO hear His voice (John 10:27) and so guess what?

It is God’s will you do the work He has put in you to do!

END OF STORY.

Because the story is categorically NOT:

It His will when YOU feel able, worthy, clear of mind or schedule, and so whilst there are of course times when the whole plan just goes straight out the window and that’s fine, if it is FREQUENTLY or even SOMEWHAT so already hanging out said window before you even thought about beginning to begin …

You’re under attack.

Somewhere along the way you gave satan ground in your mind.

And through the access YOU AGREED TO over your own free will, his evil spirits are telling you that you CAN’T, aren’t ABLE, don’t FEEL like it, and that you better just rest a little bit more or simply admit that today is not the day! Heck, he may even have you nodding sagely that you just need to wait on God more, and he doesn’t mind at ALL if you say or even pray on that, so long as you KEEP ON BELIEVING THAT THIS IS NOT YOUR DAY TO SHOW UP FULLY FOR THE KINGDOM AND THE WORK OF THE LORD YOU CAME HERE TO DO.

Do you see how CRITICAL it is to not assume that physical, emotional or mental reasons you can’t or didn’t are simply that?

Do you see how there needs to at least be a QUESTION as to whether or not it’s spiritual, and that often it IS?

Do you realise that if you are not operating on all cylinders a high percentage of the time then the fact that you’ve been given the mind of Christ and the same Spirit which raised Him from the dead resides in you does NOT MEAN YOU ARE CHOOSING TO LIVE FROM THAT, and in fact you could be saved and yet living by what is DEAD, your flesh, because satan got ground and YOU DIDN’T TAKE IT BACK?!

It’s really not that dramatic, although the effects of not dealing with it absolutely are. But what I mean is …

it is COMMON.
But that does not mean it is ACCEPTABLE.

And the reality is that many believers simply don’t realise that they need to TAKE the authority they’ve been given in Christ over their mind, will, emotions, and choose.to.believe, as well as?

Fight to regain full will of their will.

Because here is the thing:

No matter how exhausted you feel.
No matter how ‘too much’ it all is.
No matter how repeatedly you feel a surge of certainty at times, yet when it comes time to actually do the thing it seems your brain is melting.

You ABSOLUTELY CAN SPEAK THE NAME OF JESUS over these parts of yourself, and insist that you are led by the Spirit and that that is what you CHOOSE.

You understand I’m not saying there is never a physical or emotional or mental cause, yeah?

I’m talking about the repeated fact that you still DIDN’T, or DON’T, and frankly –

you have no choice at this point but to admit that day by day your destiny is being played out according to a PLAN THAT SURE AIN’T GODS.

Personally, how I experienced this, and something I am continuing to actively stand against?

A feeling of no energy and my brain melting. Feeling completely checked out when there is time or space or I had a plan to write or work. Feeling drained of all volition (will). Finding my mind repeatedly convincing me that ‘today is not the day’.

If you question whether this kind of thing is spiritual still, yet something within you knows (as did I for me) that there is no TRUE JUST CAUSE for you to continually not be quite able, just consider this –

If satan can stop somebody with a huge call to speak and spread the word of God to others, doesn’t it make sense he is gonna do that? The truth is it is his MISSION to derail every human he can from their destiny path in God. What makes you think you’re so special that you just get left alone? You’re a called and chosen child of God and you are SO special in what you came here to fulfil in Him that satan ABSOLUTELY IS NOT GONNA LET YOU ALONE, unless you make it clear that you are not AVAILABLE.

And so here is how you do that. Briefly. But simply. And EFFECTIVELY. You COME AGAINST HIM, AND YOU REFUSE TO AGREE.

You sit there, when it’s time to step forward in what God has given you, and you REFUSE.

For me how this looked yes even TODAY was about 10-15 minutes of what felt like EXHAUSTIVE battle to regain my mind as the mind of Christ it is. This was off the back of hoursssss prior feeling like ‘I’m too tired today to do anything’.

Listen:

When struggle has gone off and on for months or years it HAS become a stronghold (heard that line in church today and it fits this APTLY!)

YES, address the physical.
But also – where does the physical come from? And what do you just know in your spirit is RIGHT?

For me this can feel SO FREAKING REAL that I just needed to go home and sleep instead. That maybe once again today was not a day to press play. It felt so real that it seemed like I was HURTING myself, not being KIND to myself, to try and overcome it. Remember that satan is a MASTER of lies! He can lie better than any of us ever did! The whole point is that it’s NOT easy to come against Him, and in fact it is impossible by yourself.

But in Christ –
With His Spirit guiding you –
And your Father in heaven’s law written in your heart because you continue to seek Him –
it is simply a matter of CHOICE.

And it is choice you need to declare, affirm, and refuse to be swayed on.

Me, I simply start writing or saying out loud (often both), what I know is true in God and who I am in Him.

Things like –

I say I have the mind of Christ.
I say I am the daughter of God.
I say I am energised and empowered to DO MY FATHERS WORK.
In the Name of Jesus I say I have great energy and focus right now.
I CHOOSE the Spirit and not my flesh.
I am able to work.
I am able to move forward with the Kingdom work God would have me do.
I BELIEVE I have the focus and clarity OF the mind of Christ.
I am equipped by the Holy Spirit!
My ideas run freely and clearly.
I have great energy and feel amazing!
I TAKE BACK MY WILL IN JESUS NAME and I say I walk by the Spirit.
I REFUSE the advances of satan and his evil spirits, and I choose God and good.
I show up for what God leads me on.
I take action NOW.
My mind is clear and free NOW.
In JESUS NAME I SAY I LIVE MY CALLING TODAY AND EVERY DAY.

How I feel, when I start to do this, on the occasions when it’s like this? As though it’s futile. I don’t want to. I just want to sleep. Etc.

How I feel, when I refuse to back down and as a result of that am able to do what I know God would have me do.

AS THOUGH I’VE TAKEN GROUND FOR THE KINGDOM.

Look, you may not have any issues with clarity, focus, energy, or the things I described.

But if there is ANY sort of consistent reason you are ‘not able’ or simply still DON’T take action on what God has shown you, then either YOU are not choosing it, and there’s some decision or obedience which needs to be stepped into here, or satan has got you good and wrapped around his evil little finger, and you need to stop accepting CIRCUMSTANCES when God gave you Kingdom eyes.

Either way,
I’d be doing the latter as PART of your day.

The truth is that this world, and the devil who currently runs it, will do everything in its power to convince you that it’s okay that you didn’t do the thing, be the thing, say yes to the thing.

The truth is that in God?
You have the power to anyway.

> You are scared of things falling apart so fully that YOU completely fall apart, or your life does
> You battle how to fully surrender to that, because you do KNOW God has got you, and you definitely don’t WANT anything but His way now, but also – UM WHAT?!
> You question at times, okay – a lot more than what you care to admit – whether it is God talking or you
> You REALLY want to (and are OH so ready for this!) learn how to rest fully in the ease and flow of of Jesus ‘light and easy to bear yoke’, but it’s SO CONFUSING SOMETIMES, and besides – what’s your part?!
> You desire a SUPERNATURAL FAITH, and you know God is building it in you, but you keep on grabbing back the wheel somehow, and you want to learn how to fully let go
> You’re chomping at the bit to know exactly what to sell and how to sell it whilst also learning to slow down to the unhurried rhythms of His grace
> You’re wondering how long it’s gonna take to really skip to the good bit you know is coming, and if there’s anything that can be done to speed that up!

And what you really want is:

> CERTAINTY around what God is guiding you on, or straight up telling you to do
> Wisdom and discernment to know how and when to act
> CLARITY on the God ideas it’s time for you to create or act on
> To fully let go and let God take the wheel as the senior partner of your biz, as well as your SOURCE
> To know that you know that you KNOW that He IS your provision, that you don’t gotta keep fighting to keep the thing afloat, and how to surrender FULLY, SO HE CAN MOVE!
