Your Message is Powerful and Always Has Been: Own That Shit

Sometimes I look around at the oh so many people hustling to make a buck online, and I wonder when on earth it became about anybody who just doesn’t want to work a normal job chucking shit together, joining some dots, whacking up a FB ad, and then waiting to get paid.

Whether or not they have TALENT, seems to be by the by. Of course whether or not they make money is quite by the by as well, and usually the answer is NO, but do you see what I’m saying?

When did it become about just trying to make MONEY instead of creating something amazing? And maybe I’m just naive … maybe it was never about unleashing a message, creating ART, doing something that only you can do … maybe that was just me, and the whole game is SUPPOSED to just be about selling shit online that you don’t really believe in never mind really know how to do, to people you don’t really adore and in a way that doesn’t suit you!

Maybe.

But I don’t think so.

I think there are those of us who are just BORN for this, called since before time began, we were ALWAYS supposed to lead and rule and share your MESSAGE with the world.

We are the ones who have it within our power to ask for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING we want, and see it come to life. Of course the truth is that every single human person has this same power! But let’s be honest, most will never even BEGIN to comprehend let alone apply this truth, and besides which:

I’m not talking to them.
I’m talking to you.

I’m talking to you, the leader, who KNOWS you are meant to be on stage.
You, the messenger, who feels almost a desperate level of anxiety about getting people to understand.
You, the VISIONARY, who sees so far ahead into a future most don’t even know CAN exist, that it simultaneously thrills you to know EVERYTHING is possible, whilst also freezing you with the knowledge that ANYTHING is possible!

And let’s be honest:

A lot of the time?
You’re frozen.
You ALLOW yourself to be frozen, a beautiful sculpture of ice, watching the world move and flow around you, KNOWING in your heart that YOU ARE ONE OF THE CHOSEN ONES, yet doing precisely jack.fucking.shit ABOUT it.

Oh, what’s that now?
You ARE doing the work? You ARE hustling? You ARE showing up?

I don’t fucking think so.
I don’t say this to demean the fact that yeah, sure, you get out of bed in the morning, you open your eyes, you open your laptop and maybe you even DO something!

That’s nice …
It’s cute, also, that you for a SECOND are trying to kid yourself that this is what we’re talking about here when you damn straight KNOW it’s not what we’re talking about here!

Stop fooling yourself.
Stop half ASSING your LIFE.
Stop HIDING from the role you were ALWAY SUPPOSED TO PLAY.

I can tell you that when you leap into ACTION you’ll realise it was ALL always so much more available to you than what you’ve allowed it to be. YES it’s going to be scary, and YES it’s going to be tumultous, and hell YEAH you’re going to fail WAY more than you’ll EVER succeed, and YES it’s definitely going to hurt at times and yes there will be people who don’t LIKE you.

And?!
Was there ever actually any question that what you dream of isn’t worth 100 million times whatever the price you have to PAY for it is?

And here is what this comes down to in the end, for so many of us who are called, I believe:

If you fully and truly knew.
That your message was as powerful as you DO in fact know it is.
If you fully and truly owned.
That you came here for a reason.
If you fully and truly gave yourself permission.
To SHOW THE FUCK UP AND FLY

All of a sudden all of the reasons you ASK for so little and also ACT so little will cease to matter.
The truth is they never DID, but yet here you are –
Frozen –
Allowing your life to be a product of fear and insecurity, of responding to NORMAL, of being the average of being HUMAN.

Nothing wrong with that if your freakin’ DESTINY was to be ONE OF THEM.

But if you are called –
If you HAVE a powerful message –
If you came here to be on stage, to shine, to show up, to change the WORLD –

Then at some point you’re going to have to accept:

Your message is fucking powerful but nobody will ever know if you don’t OWN that shit.

There is no point in time at which you will have EARNED THE RIGHT to be good enough, worthy enough, ready enough. You’re waiting for a MIRAGE on a horizon that doesn’t even exist. What the fuck is it you expect the world to show you that will give you permission, make you or your message something that makes people sit up, pay attention, follow, buy, CHANGE?

Do you want to know what?
Do you REALLY want to know, and are you prepared to ACT on that information?

It’s a decision gorgeous.
A simple fucking decision.
A moment in time.
This moment right now.
Where you wake up.
Where you realise.
FINALLY.
And also act on.
FULLY.

The fact that everything you ever wanted has always been there waiting for you and it’s COMPLETELY UP TO YOU, but that also –

You can SAY you were born for more.
You can INSIST your message is powerful and that you’re here to make millions, impact millions, change the world!

But at some point?
If you don’t show otherwise?
The world is going to believe you are who you’re demonstrating yourself to be.

You say your message IS powerful, and you’re here for more, I BELIEVE you, but YOU have to own that shit, and here is what else:
