The lie is that life is in ANY way to do with me,

and the relentless pursuit of what she wants, or needs, or even,

is born for.

The lie is that you can EVER get to done,

in the pursuit or finding of you.

Wrap it in all the ‘soul alignment’ coloured paper you like, and put a BIG ole bow of your own desires on top of it, you’re still in the pursuit of a more which cannot ever be met.

And then there is peace.

The peace which surpasses all understanding.

The peace we seek, and long for, and crave, and were made, to find.

The funny thing about peace,

and the seduction we fall into, time and again,

is that it should be so simple. Shouldn’t it?

It seems so attainable.

The formula is everywhere!

And on top of it, YOU can be the one who decides.

You don’t have to be like the others.

YOU get to choose!

Or that the peace which should be so attainable … (surely just another million away? Surely just one more day of now REALLY figuring out my way?!) –

can be found,

in you.

And then there is this.

Perhaps at a certain point,

when you have relentlessly pursued,

sought,

exalted,

and done everything within your soul and bodily power to find or complete you,

you finally realise that more of the same can only beget more of the same.

And that maybe,

just maybe,

the thing to relentlessly pursue,

was not you.
