SMACKDOWN TIME

We need to drop the story that we’d have the business we want if only we could get on top of or motivate ourselves to do all the stuff we HAVE to do,

and instead connect back to the fact that we GET to do this.

It’s so easy to get so swept up in everything which is possible to do to grow or advance that you forget that the whole entire point of getting in to this here fabulous CREATE AND UNLEASH THE THINGS ONLINE game was because you were following PURPOSE. Calling. Truth. And a burning desire which AIN’T GONNA GO AWAY SISTER –

to simply say and share the things.

Do you realise how freakin’ phenomenal it is that we live in a time where we can easily create a business and indeed a life out of following that inner knowing that we have something of value to share?!

I know some part of you might be rolling your eyes at the ‘easy’ part right now …

but I also know that deep down where truth lives, you know it actually IS easy. Flow. The whole entire supernatural ‘then she just did’ thang is absolutely available for you as well, or available again, or available consistently … or to the next NEXT level … and possibly?

You just got yourself all kinds of tangled in an idea of all kinds of things which all kinds of people who are not you and are also not REMOTELY in sync with what God planted in YOUR spirit –

have told you ya gotta do.

You know?

When instead here is what’s true:

– the way you wish it could be is how it gets to be

– there is not a single thing some guru out there (no matter how epic they may be at being THEM) is telling you you HAVE to do which is true. Who made them God? Are they the King or Queen of knowing what works for EVERYONE? Were they the originator of sharing stories and messages and transmitting a download, and inspiring people to take action? I’M PRETTY SURE THAT EXISTED BEFORE THE INTERNET.

– Oh, and?

If you dropped the idea that there is all this STUFF you have to do in order to be able to be free and flow, and reframed real quick (like, now!) to the fact that you GET to do this thing –

yes that even includes the squirm-y ‘I don’t WANNA’ bits or the bits you’re just not comfortable with or have no idea where to start with.

What if instead of viewing it as this endless task of HAVING to figure stuff out instead you butt-kicked your fine self into excitement –

curiosity –

a kid on an adventure, or inventing a thing – !

And embarked upon it from that perspective?

What we do is INCREDIBLE.

Just now I was chatting to my aircon guy about what I do, as he’d asked me, and he started raving about a coach he worked with last year who changed his life where professionals in a more traditional sense had not been able to for years.

This is a reality we hear over and over again! (And I love traditional professionals by the way, but I’m just saying … what we do matters!)

Can I tell you something else?

One of my younger friends, early twenties, who is in the early stages of setting up his online business, as an excitement and eagerness to simply figure out and get done the things that I just don’t see very often in us older folks.

Let’s get real. At this point, for most people I coach or work with, there SEEMS to be more at stake. For many women I coach, their business HAS to work to feed the family or provide. For others, there is a need to FINALLY prove people wrong and show that they really DO have something which can be a real business.

And by the way,
even my clients who make 7-figures+ sometimes still feel a need to prove that what they do is real.

But I don’t think this is really a conversation about age. Experience. Or pressure, real or imagined.

I think it’s a conversation about STOP FREAKING BUYING IN TO THE IDEA THAT GETTING TO WHERE YOU WANNA GO OR BEING WHO YOU WANNA BE REQUIRES YOU TO DO STUFF YOU DON’T WANNA DO OR DON’T KNOW HOW TO.

Roll up your freaking sleeves. Decide you are HAPPY about whatever it is you need to do. Remind yourself you GET to. And most of all?

Remind yourself of what got you started in the first place.

You know you have something inside of you which is real.

You KNOW you were born for more.

And deep deep down in places where maybe you need to look a little bit more often?

You believe you have what it takes to be the person who systematically just shows up for her LIFE,

and freaking makes it.

All of which is to say –

TIME TO BE THE NEW GIRL IN TOWN BABE.

The one you keep on telling yourself you are,

BECAUSE YOU ARE.

– exploding productivity + motivation by stripping everything which is simply not meant to be there and which YOU never needed
– OWNERSHIP OF THE FULLNESS OF THE GIFT YOU HAVE TO CREATE, LEAD, DISCERN, SEE, COMMUNICATE AND SHARE, and the fact that actually?

rather than deep down KNOWING you came here to defy every single rule of business OR growth by simply POURING OUT FIRE AND GOLD,
but then meanwhile getting up every day and obediently trying to follow the rules and be a good little proper girl.
