Do you expect it to be easy, do you expect it to be hard, do you expect it to flow, or do you expect for shit to go

and everywhere

except for where

you want

you’ll always get what you expect, you know, precisely that and not much more at all, in fact no more, no more, no more, not even a LITTLE bit more, than what you allow for

life will give you what you expect

what you allow

what you permit

and what you are open for

perhaps you expect that in this area over here, you get to have all the things! do all the things! let it be easy and let it be fun and let the goooooddddd taaammmmesss rollll! and that’s just how it is, for a person like you; why would it not be?! it’s always been that way

but yet –

has it, has it really?

always, always really?

or is it that you learned that, you allowed it, you were even perhaps conditioned into it, maybe by your own self, your own journey, or perhaps even right from when time began …

just like I always expected to be the best academically, well, why wouldn’t I be, I’m intelligent as fuck! or was it simply that my parents expected it –

of themselves and of me –

and I grew up learning that that’s who we are, who I am, so of course

which came first, the expectation or the result, hmm? hmmm!

so, you have an area like that; we all do, and you say – ‘that’s just how it is!’

but yet, it’s actually just how you created it

and then – !

that other area, the one you long for and dream of and you feel like why is it so damn HARD?! why can’t I?! why does everyone else?! why do I keep falling back down?! why am I still not THERE?!

that other area where you let it take forever and a day, and maybe you will NEVER EVER GET THERE, maybe maybe MAYBE –

that’s just how it is –

that’s just how life is –

that’s normal –

it’s natural – !

and there’s no argument to be made!

except of course, for the fact that, well –

isn’t it true that that’s just how you expect it to be?

and maybe it’s always been that way…

or maybe it’s that you started to expect it to be that way, somewhere along the way…

or perhaps it was imprinted into you, since time began – !

but either way, it’s just what you expect

and so you’ll get exactly that

nothing more

and nothing less either, no fear!

and perhaps you’re happy that way, maybe that’s enough for you, maybe life is GOOD and JUST and FINE and you think to yourself, well – ! who am I to expect more?!

and I ask you, as has been asked so often before, as I KNOW you’ve asked your own soul, your own self, so often, since FAR before time began –

WHO ARE YOU NOT TO?

who are you not to expect the BEST, and BETTER than the best, and for it ONLY to get better still?!

who are you not to expect FULL love, FULL adoration, FULL receiving in all areas?

who are you not to expect life and everything in it as well as everyBODY who you allow in to SHOW UP FOR YOU FULLY?

who are you also to not SHOW UP FULLY FOR YOU LIFE, HUH?

because here is what you need to know

when it comes to expectation

when it comes to receiving

when it comes to I WANT and I DEMAND and surely I DESERVE, and I LONG for, oh – !

how I yearn

what you need to know is this

yes, you will always and only get what you expect

nothing more

and nothing less

but yes,

it starts with what you give yourself

what you expect of yourself

what you allow WITHIN yourself

so,

if you desire more love, give more love, and start, my dear, with you

if you desire more abundance, allow it to flow through and from you and act as though you are already IN abundance, in and of your own self along with for others

if you desire to RECEIVE more, than once again GIVE more

and if you desire to be seen

to be heard

to be known

to be wanted

then darling –

see yourself

hear yourself

know yourself

and show yourself

you are wanted
