“LORD RESURRECT IN ME YOUR ORIGINAL DESIGN”

When the Lord calls you home to Him, and I mean home to being a citizen of heaven here on EARTH with Him, not home to heaven home, you will be excited, you will be confronted, you will be activated, you will be realigned in a way which blasts right outta the water whatever your own idea of alignment was, you will be OH so ready for all of it – come at me Lord, I’m ready; let’s GO! – and then?

At some point –
Maybe not right away –
In fact, likely at least a few months down the way, if not an entire year or so, from what my own experience has been and what I’ve also seen –

You will realise that OH.
Oops.
I did it again.

I picked up the me thing. Add a little flavour of moi. And somewhere along the way got the whole ‘God is doin’ a NEW thing’ thing tangled up with, well –

the old thing and how I thought things just THING.

The thing with coming back to God, coming home to your King, whether it has been a journey of returning since the womb and you never really knew of Him in an earthly sense, or whether you’re one of us slid-very-far-back-now-we-here-again folks, is that He IS going to calibrate you back to the OG design.

You know –
the bit where He knew you already in the womb and sanctified and ordained you for whatever it was He did?

And the thing with THAT is –

it is not going to look ANYTHING like the version where you take your OWN previous understanding, your own well built skillsets and knowledge and expertise, your natural lens of what God’s vision in your life might look like, and basically PAINT A GOD FILTER ON THE THING YOU BUILT.

The thing with THAT is, of course, you won’t NOTICE at first that that’s what you’re doing.

Because guess what?

No matter how much your true new hearts desire is to steadfastly gaze upon the things of God, you ARE human, you WILL default back to your previous patterns or lens, and it DOES take time for the mind of Christ to renew yours. The Bible says so 😉

All of which I say to say …

I believe TODAY is a day, a day when we are celebrating the empty grave and the RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD, to also pray God RESURRECT IN US THE ORIGINAL DESIGN HE WROTE US TO BE.

I believe TODAY is a day we get to pray again “Lord BREAK from me what needs breaking. TAKE from me what needs taking. SHAKE off of me what needs shaking. And WAKE in me, who and what I should now be, according to your purposes, and in the MIGHTY Name of Jesus,

Amen”.

This morning I asked God, as I often do, for fresh revelation. Lord give me a revelation and a vision of who I AM now in you.

Our seeking of Him needs to be continual.
Our pursuit of Him lifelong.
Often He has corrected and reminded me: stop trying to get to done. Stop trying to get to the bit where you’ve figured it all out and know your every move Kat. Your move is IN me, so just … look to me.

The thing with God recalibrating us, returning us to who we were always meant to be, is that it’s not about ‘how can I speed that up?’

It’s about surrendering to being ON that path as a lifelong journey.

And whilst there may be certain moments where the revelation is milestone-like … and we absolutely need to prioritise our time and space to be with and hear from God or we WILL miss things we would have heard …

each new ‘milestone’ or ‘hallmark’ revelation inherently within it contains endless layers of calibration you are yet to see.

See in our natural we are wired to want to know it all. Figure out it all. Have it all. And be it all. Left to the design of our flesh we want to be GOD, we want to be self-sufficient and able to say ‘I got this’.

But God says that when we are at our weakest we are strongest in Him.

And Jesus says without Him we can do NOTHING.

So what if the breakthrough revelation today were STOP freaking trying to be?!

And instead,

“Lord I just look to thee”.

Today He did give me a personal word that was pretty huge.

A breaking off of chains of identity I still thought were true, just with a purty lil God filter replacing the way I previously did it.

On the one hand that was HUGE for me, the word He gave me today as I sought Him.

On the other hand it was exactly what I’ve always known I am in Him, and made so much sense.

On another hand again it was confronting and scary – “I can’t say I’m THAT; what will people think?!” (<<< “but child YOU don’t say you’re that, it was ME who said it and you KNOW I wrote it this way!”

And on yet one more hand you know what?

It’s business as usual.

Just through a different lens.

But I guess if I had to identify a primary shift, and one I know will speak to you as well, the key difference in the current season of recalibration for me, is this:

Once upon a time I was about my own business.

Now I am about my Fathers business.

If you want a revelation for your work,
your purpose walk.
and the walking FORWARD of the call upon your life,
today, consider:

What would it look like to truly just be about your Fathers business,

and have THAT be the lens?

Before you get too excited about this, take a moment to realise that that would also mean letting go of having ANY concern for how the thing is monetized or grown.

For my entrepreneurs and leaders out there, I believe that letting go of this,

is the point where you really realise you’ve come home.

After all,

the favoured child of the King of Kings, who has returned to the Kingdom and all that ensues there, does not concern themselves with their own standing or bread because their time of SLAVERY,

is dead.
