beyond what my heart left to its own devices could discern
or where it would have me go

I could never know.

and as I do, even though yes a part of me is nervous at what may ensue –

pushing

fighting
breathlessness
a ‘sort of kind of a flow’
when the whole entire time I can’t help but NOT really know –

the rest you LEFT us

rid me of the voices, the beliefs, the thoughts and ideas which would not BE of that

because God,
my heart longs to do this thing just for you

is my prayer and my cry
hold me in your depths
fold me in your stillness
and show me a new way to create
to be
to do business
to do life
to do me

as I remember,
who it was you made me as
and why

I hear the Lord telling me to slow down, even more, to be intentional, even more, to let go, even more, and to wait, even more.

For those of us who know we came to whirl, and twirl, to operate in supernatural flow which from makes the speed of light look slow, this can seem … contrary

But in your spirit, you know –

there is dancing to the beat of a flow which is JUST outside of you, a breathlessness and a whirlwind which is just not QUITE on beat, and you are perpetually doing doing doing, being being being, flying flying flying, creating creating creating, and it’s all very … wonderful … except that it’s all very …

MISSING something

and then there is a different kind of dance.

You know the one –

it’s the one you first wait on
eyes closed
hands on lap
softening
dropping
surrendering
exhaling
and exhaling
and exhaling
until there is nothing left
to let go of
and at some point, somewhere between the holding on and the place you just – no longer were –
you became
one
in Him
the way
it’s designed
to be

in this place …

it is a new dance every day
a new song in every way
and simultaneous coming together
and falling apart
of everything
you thought
you’d be
need
or do

all of a sudden all of it …

is just –

IMMATERIAL.

You can’t even remember,

why you cared.

And in this place …

your eyes snap suddenly open
you look around at this fresh new world you’re operating in
and you realise
it’s time
it’s time
it’s time

Snap!

All of a sudden you are activated
All of a sudden you are ON
The fire is STOKED
the charge begun

And now you are WHIRLING, and TWIRLING, CREATING, and pouring forth.

But this …

this is a dance you never knew before
and one which never could BE before

UNTIL YOU ARE ALL THE WAY THROUGH
