Success Mindset


A few weeks back I got a pitch in my DMs from a former client, a woman who attended one of my in person retreats in 2015. She was offering to demonstrate some value to me in a particular area of my business and, if it were to go as desired, that I could then hire her services ongoing.

I get a lot of pitches in my DMs. Most are spam based (hello IG pop-up accounts!), and most of the rest are not relevant. Usually they’re poorly worded –

And almost ALWAYS the person has clearly copy and paste something rather than make it personal to me, and my company. I REALLY hate this, it’s a pet peeve. Surely if you’re going to pitch someone on something you can take 2 seconds to personalise at least the intro to your lil script there?! I do also receive some nice, personal, super well thought out pitches, but most of THOSE tend to be for something I already have covered, or just don’t want.

In this case, the pitch was personal (super personal, super tailored to me and my biz), it was clearly research based, it clearly laid out a possible course of action, and it called me TO action, if I felt so called. I DID feel so called, and so after a little back and forth, I said yes.

Last night I was going back and forth on email with this new support person on my team, and it got me to thinking and I guess admiring the fact that she had proactively shown up, demonstrated her value, offered me said value, and given me a ‘hell yes no brainer’ offer that I didn’t want to say no to. Whether or not that makes her and her services indispensable to my business I don’t yet know. It’s too soon to say. But it MIGHT, and then ongoing payments will be made, an agreement reached, and both parties getting something they want.

This is some basic shit, yeah?

offer value
– offer it in such a way that your prospect can clearly understand what it is, and how it can help, as well as the terms and structure
– offer it in a way that is personal to them, speaks to their needs and / or their soul so that they CAN’T SAY NO (and don’t want to!)
– offer it with a clear explanation or implication around why YOU are the person who can help, what your expertise or magic is, and why that is relevant
– offer it with a deal or investment that is a full body fuck yes for both parties


Marketing and sales 101.

And yet –

take a look around the ‘net, and – God forbid – perhaps even on your own wall, and ask yourself how many of your own offers, sales posts, calls to action, meet these simple criteria.

Daily I see people throwing offers out there which are ‘feel good, ‘nice to have’, ‘kinda sorta interesting or of value’, or, in a disturbing amount of cases, just plain confusing and NOT RELEVANT.

Maybe it’s just that those offers are not for ME, and so I don’t see or get the value, and it doesn’t speak to MY soul. Maybe all the people I see out there who my experienced soul-led marketer’s eye quickly assesses as having NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT THEY’RE DOING – or just being lazy as all get out about doing it – are actually speaking PERFECTLY to their ideal peeps, making all the monies, and impact, and fun!


Nah, I’m certain – !


The reality is as it’s always been. 0.01% of people in ‘the space’ (whichever space you like!) are actually making real money, and a real impact, and are the winners who will keep on winning no matter what.

But here’s what sucks. What makes me sad. What is next level bullshit, really, because it’s SO easily fixed!

The fact that only a teeny percentage of peeps are making real moolah and allowing their soul work to BE OF SERVICE does not mean that only those same peeps have value to offer the marketplace!

Let’s make it personal:

I bet YOU have massive value that the world should get to hear, and I bet that no matter how much money you’re making right now, you ABSOLUTELY know you could – even should! – be making more.

In short, more people should be picking up what you’re puttin’ down, and you should be making more money for it!

So why aren’t you??

– Maybe you haven’t decided to
– Maybe you got all sorts of ‘blocks’ to clear
– Maybe you don’t have time
– Maybe you need to get yo’ systems sorted
– Maybe a bunch of stuff!

And maybe, just maybe, one of those reasons is that you’ve DROPPED THE BALL on making your offers clear,



To your soul peeps.

Handy hint: making it a hell yes offer they can’t say no to allows you to transcend your ‘blocks’ and shit, instantly 

So let’s get real:

Maybe you’re doing that thing where you put out the links, the calls to action, but it’s kinda from a place of ‘well, they should just know / feel to buy’. Lazy ass marketing, which often is covering a fear of not being good enough, not able to really help people, not worthy of your own desired abundance and freedom, or a mix of all of that.

And here is what’s up with that:

Those doubts and uncertainties?? You get to CHOOSE whether or not to confirm ’em as real.

Guess what? You’re already choosing, with how you’re showing up right now.

Being the top, being one of the few who actually makes it, and continues to go from strength to strength, it is absolutely NOT just about being one who has a powerful calling, message, gifts.

Fuck your ability to help people! If you can’t SELL to them it means nothing. And you know when I say ‘sell’ I am NOT just talking about exchange of money. But yeah – I definitely AM talking about exchange of money as part of it!

Today I urge you

Pull your damn finger out. Stand up straight. Shoulders back. Boobs out! (Or manly chest out, I’ll take that too!). DECIDE to actually damn well be who you are at your core. DECIDE to transcend fear and doubts bullshit conversation. DECIDE to believe in yourself, not just talk about it. Hey – if you know you’re actually full of shit and the fear voices are valid, then decide to do something about that! But for many people, and maybe you –

Why you’re not making more money is you’re just not doing the damn job of clearly and effectively communicating your offers in a way that makes ’em scream yes.

It’s not rocket science gorgeous.

Want people to buy?? Meet ’em where they’re at and show ’em who you are and what you’ve got.

If it feels any more complex than that, I’d backtrack and get clear on those things before you worry about tricking up your marketing.

The space will only get more crowded.

Which means that those of us who are real can ever more effortlessly bodysurf the crowd all the way to the stage.

Decide who you are.
Act it.
