Not because YOU decided to push or force or ‘make’ a thing happen,

but because you realised you were running a story that it can’t be like that, not yet, or maybe not at all, when God never SAID that to you.

Don’t get me wrong.

If God told you it’s not time. Sit on your butt. Wait. Attention on a whole ‘nother thing. HEED THAT.

But if it’s more of a case of “I better be careful just in case”,

“I don’t want to expect too much”,

“I don’t want to think too highly of myself”,

“What if I accidentally operate out of the will of God; best not to move a muscle – !”

Can I tell you something?

You’re operating with a spirit of fear. Trepidation at best. Uncertainty for sure. Doubt. Confusion. Not the mind of Christ and not what God authored!

So what’s a purpose-lovin’ God-fearin’ gal to do, when she KNOWS she has been thick in a WHOLE unraveling of her own ways and absolutely does not want to revert back to that?!

DECIDE.
TO NOT.
BE SCARED.

DECIDE.
TO NOT.
PLAY SMALL.

DECIDE.
TO BELIEVE.
GOD!

Now I know that’s some crazy talk, except, um, what are you on about NO IT’S NOT!

Look, there’s a rebound sort of a thing which goes on; I get it.

Calibration needs to occur.

And more than likely you gotta put DOWN the thing in order to find out whether or not God is gonna give it back to you, never mind in what form and no it WON’T BE THE OLD WAY.

Also, PS. You don’t put it down SO that you find out if God gives it back to you as such … you put it down because you know it’s time. There’s no other choice to make. You have chosen to surrender and trust and you are now actually DOING that.

But if this is the case … and I just truly believe that for whoever this is going out to then it is, and so THAT’S YOU; well done …

then why do you now not trust God to exalt you as the righteous, and as His, or that He surrounds you with His favour like a shield, or that HE will clean up whatever mess you made, oh and also, what’s that thing now?

That He HAS called you to GREATNESS AND INDEED CALLS YOU BY THAT NOW.

I’m not saying that the unraveling may not REQUIRE you to ‘lose’ a whole bunch of ground YOU made … or that it may not REQUIRE you to turn attention to a WHOLE new thing … or that it may not REQUIRE the oh-so-confronting and testing version of learning faith and patience …

I am talking SPECIFICALLY about the bit where He is prompting you to more. To now. To GO. And you’re saying “oh, but maybe not”, and “yeah but what if?”, and “oh, but I’m not sure”, and “why would He use me that way?”, or “why would I get to?!” because you’re worried that the previous you who always wanted MORE,

is still doing that
and now you’re letting satan tell you lies that maybe God doesn’t wanna use you at ALL like that or maybe you SHOULD just keep things as teeny tiny as possible. Just in case.

Sorry.
But there is no ‘just in case’ scripture to refer you to here.

There IS –

“My sheep know my voice”.
“As many are the children of God are led by the Spirit of God”.
“The same power that raised Christ from the dead resides in you”.
“Who knows but that you were born for such a time as this”.
“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart!”

So let me ask you …

Do you TRUST God? Are you SURRENDERED to Him? Are you seeking Him daily to know if there is anywhere you are NOT in right standing? Do you have a genuine desire to put His Kingdom and His righteousness first? Is your heart for GOD’S glory in all that you do, not yours? Are you willing, obedient, PLIABLE to what God shows you?

Are you also human in all of this, and so yep you have a mind and emotions which may at times derail you in any of this, but yet you ARE led by the Spirit of God and so you return to Him, in fact ever deeper?

Well then …

why not start to trust that you’ve entered new territory? You are walking by the Spirit now. The desires of your heart have been rearranged to match HIS. He wants to partner with you on what He is showing you now! What IS that?

It might be one little step in front of you,
it could be an entire canyon filled with adventure.

It is ALL to be for HIS glory.
But NONE of it can happen while you keep playing a story that you don’t know, are not sure, and maybe you’re just meant to stay a while in limbo land.
