YOU GET THE REAL DEAL

The devil tried to sway me this morning, separate me this morning, convince me this morning, that I’d screwed up,

and that maybe

this is what I get

I listened to him whisper what I knew were lies

and for a moment

I succumbed

I literally heard him say

“you’ll never get away from me”

and for a moment

I agreed

even as I knew

THAT’S A LIE

I could have cried out to God and yet in that moment

I CHOSE not to

it felt too hard

or, the truth is, my MIND just didn’t WANNA

and so I agreed with satan
by definition of me NOT running to God and remembering –
IT’S NOT MY STRENGTH THAT’S NEEDED HERE

Instead listening to my mind telling me,
once more,

‘this is what YOU get’

And as I paced the lounge, waiting for my coffee to finish pouring, going suddenly into aggressive DECLARATIVE prayer of who I AM in God, coming AGAINST satan and coming OUT of agreement with him just made,

I heard God say –

YOU GET THE REAL DEAL.

I threw it IMMEDIATELY in the devils face.

“I GET THE REAL DEAL. I GET THE REAL DEAL. I GET THE REAL DEAL DEVIL, AND YOU ARE A LIAR!”

“I WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOUR LIES TELLING ME THAT I AM SEPARATED FROM GOD!”

“I WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOUR LIES TELLING ME I’VE REALLY DONE IT NOW, AND PROVEN I’M JUST NOT WORTHY; THAT GOD DOESN’T WANT ME”

“I WILL NOT LISTEN! I WILL NOT LISTEN! I WILL NOT LISTEN! I WON’T HAVE IT I WON’T HAVE IT I WON’T HAVE IT!”

At this point the dog was looking at me with alarm, and I’m pretty sure the builders over the back fence could hear my shrieks.

Which is nothing the dog OR them haven’t heard before haha.

Because sometimes we DO need to get loud and aggressive coming against the devil. In fact often! In fact we should ACTIVELY, each and every time it is REQUIRED, be exerting our by-the-blood AUTHORITY over him. We should be naming his sneak or not-so-sneak attacks for what they ARE, and insisting –

“I WON’T HAVE IT! I WON’T HAVE IT! I WON’T HAVE IT! I GET THE REAL DEAL! I AM A CHILD OF GOD I AM HIS DAUGHTER AND MY DADDY SAID I GET THE REAL DEAL SO I GET THE REAL DEAL!”

Are you this aggressive with the enemy? Do you call on the blood of JESUS and what He has done for you? Do you exert your AUTHORITY, and tell the devil where to go?

Or do you listen,
when you stumble
when you are weak
when you trip up

to his lies
his desperate and foolish yet often SUCCESSFUL attempt
to separate you from God.

Do you realise that NO-THING, no spirit, no demon, no devil, no working of your own mind, NO thing can separate you from the love of God?!

The devil will try to convince you that ‘now you’ve really done it’, that you shouldn’t even ASK for forgiveness or repent again, that you need to first go and PROVE and BETTER yourself and THEN come back to God.

I stayed away from God for about 20 years because of this lie.

You can bet your bottom dollar I’m not losing another minute now that I’ve been set straight.

And you can bet that the more I can’t SEE what God is doing for me working in every different way my MIND might wanna see it right now, the more I will SCREAM that GOD SAID IT SO IT’S HAPPENING.

He said what He said!
He said what He said!
He said what He said!

The JUST
the RIGHTEOUS
Gods CHILDREN
shall live by FAITH

FAITH
is always available.

It is not dependant on your emotions. Your will. Your mind. And it sure ain’t dependant on the devils opinion.

So when you are SCARED
or WORRIED
or in TURMOIL
or DESPAIR

HAND IT OVER TO HE WHO WOULD HAVE YOU HAND IT OVER TO HIM

and take this word which God gave me for ME today but NOT JUST FOR ME –

YOU GET THE REAL DEAL
YOU GET THE REAL DEAL
YOU GET THE REAL DEAL

And it’s only a matter of TIME until you are shrieking “LOOK WHAT GOD DID”.

GET READY BABY.

THE VICTORY IS ALREADY YOURS.

Act.freaking.accordingly.
