Flow is when you get lost so deep you don’t even know where you were to begin with, or even if you began at all.
Hasn’t it always been this way? Haven’t I always been right here, in this moment, doing this?
That’s what flow is.
Flow is when the world stops and slows around you, you’re only vaguely aware that it IS there, but it’s really just … swimming around you, like soup, or maybe you are the soup, you don’t know and it doesn’t matter but all that you do know is that THIS is what matters.
Right here.
Right now.
Flow is when your worries of what they’ll think, or whether it will work, or whether it will make you money, or WHAT WILL THEY THINK all fade away.
It doesn’t matter.
It never mattered.
Flow is when everything just makes SENSE, when you know in your heart with ABSOLUTE certainty that if you just keep doing this, if you just stay HERE, if you follow THIS pull, it WILL work, it must work, because DOING this work IS it working.
And nothing else.
And nothing else.
Flow is when you’re sure. You’re so God damn sure that the entire world could present you with evidence that you’re WRONG, that this is not it, this is not the right path, this is not how it’s DONE, and you’d simply shrug, if that, but either way look away, and get back to what you’re doing.
Back to flow.
Because you just KNOW. Nothing can shake that knowing.
Flow is what PULLS you, it MAGNETISES you, it draws you in, and when you’re in it you don’t want to leave, you feel you CAN’T leave, people might try to get your attention or sway you but they seem so –
So –
Far –
Away.
And you don’t care.
When you’re NOT in flow really all you want, is to be back there. You could be presented with a diamond-encrusted mountain and told it’s yours if you’ll just go towards THAT but if flow is calling you wouldn’t, not now, not ever.
Everything you do, every move you make, every breath you take is to get you back to FLOW.
The things that amuse or occupy others are an interruption, a nuisance, something you will endure only if you absolutely MUST, but the whole time there’s no doubt – you’d rather not be there. You’d rather be doing what you need to do.
And soon enough you are, once more.
Flow is your guiding light, or it should be.
Don’t know if that business idea is right or not? Well, does actioning it move you into flow, or away from flow? Okay then.
Not sure if you should continue on in that relationship? Well, does it feel in ANY way at ANY time, like flow? If no, there’s your answer. If somewhat, is it enough?
No idea where to start, with what you should do, what the MESSAGE within you actually is, or what you should sell?
WHERE IS THE FLOW?
What do you get LOST in saying, what do you get so excited to speak about or even hear about? Start there, for your message.
What would you get LOST in teaching, or delivering, or producing, what would you quite frankly not shut up about whether or not you were ever paid for it? Start there, with what to sell.
The thing with flow is, it iS the guiding fucking light you’re meant to live by.
You spend all this time trying to find answers, and make things work. Don’t you see?
The answers are all right there IN THE FLOW.
You worry so much about what’s right, or wrong, or allowed, or HOW. Don’t you SEE?
There is no right or wrong or how. There’s only INTO flow or AWAY from flow.
It’s so EASY to know what you were called to do. You’re LYING if you say that you don’t. You’re HIDING if you’re trying to make a difference, stand out, get known and get PAID by trying to SAY stuff or SELL stuff when you could just UNLEASH stuff, from flow, and be done with all of this WORRY and WAITING and TRYING.
Flow doesn’t HAVE to try! Flow just IS. THIS IS HOW IT IS. This is what I came here to DO. This is what I MUST do and so therefore it simply WILL work, and there’s no question about that, the only QUESTION is –
Can you feel that and will you believe it and will you follow it?
You can spend a lifetime –
If you like.
Trying to get noticed, stand out, build a brand, and get paid.
You can do all the right things, learn from the best in the world, join all the dots and cross every ‘t’. You can learn how to market and generate leads and sell. You can learn about SUCCESS, from the point of view of ‘this is what has worked for others’ so maybe if I APPLY myself and continue learning along the way it will work for me.
And maybe it will.
Maybe it will.
Heck, it’s ONLY YOUR LIFE! So what if you spend it TRYING to make stuff that is NOT you, work.
You can give your life for that, if you must.
